About COCOBRASIL
We began to work in 1997 starting from an experience to understand what could result from using  fabric as Lineage or Weaving to produce clothes with quality and simplicity. We were searching for a craft product with details in crochet, hand made embroideries with craft buttons and restraints made by dry coconut. The acceptance was immediate and soon we were part of the fashion market. In the beginning we only had five models: short skirts, shorts, top, feminine trousers and blouse. Now we have more than 80 models according the season. We are a company from Paraiba in the Northeast of Brazil working with woven and traditional accessories of our area. The brand COCOBRASIL has spread around states of the Northeast Area, some of the South Area, Southeast and North. COCOBRASIL can also be found in countries of Europe as Sweden, France and Spain.

Our Proposal
 COCOBRASIL is proud of trying to maintain the environment and the social equilibrium. Our proposal is to produce a Natural Fashion using fabrics 100% of natural cotton, pre-washed avoiding affecting the ambience. Always looking for the craftsmanship we use the crochet and embroideries done manually by our community's people as well as handmade buttons and restraints with dry coconut. The "Cabacas" or "Quengas of dry Coconut" necessary to produce the pieces for our clothes are acquired of the Tapioqueiras and Bejuseiras from the area. (Tapioca and Beju is a typical   dish from the northeast of Brazil done basically with coconut). Finally, we sought here, to produce clothes personalized with a craft characteristic valuing the Nature in all its dimensions, using what is given by the world without affecting the enviroment. We appreciate the work of the embroiderers, bejuseiras, tapioqueiras and our community's craftsman generating jobs, always searching for a contribution to our community.
